Ποίοι είμαστε - Who are we?

Είμαστε το 3ο Γυμνάσιο Ηρακλείου Κρήτης. Το σχολείο μας έχει λάβει μέρος στο Πανευρωπαϊκό πρόγραμμα εξοικονόμησης ενέργειας “Euronet 50-50”. Το σχολείο μας συμμετέχει από το έτος 2009 και θα συνεχίσει έως το 2012. Αναπτύσσοντας ιδέες και μέτρα αποσκοπούμε να εξοικονομήσουμε ενέργεια τόσο στο σχολείο όσο και στο σπίτι μας . Επίσης, μέσω αυτού του προγράμματος επιδιώκουμε την αλλαγή της συμπεριφοράς των συμμαθητών μας, προκειμένου να διασφαλιστεί η ισορροπία και η βιωσιμότητα του πλανήτη.

Για να επιτευχθούν τα παραπάνω αφού πρώτα ενημερώσαμε τους συμμαθητές μας και τους καθηγητές του σχολείου μας, για το σκοπό του προγράμματός μας, στη συνέχεια δημιουργήσαμε ομάδες οι οποίες μετά από καθοδήγηση των υπευθύνων καθηγητών ελέγχουν τη φωτεινότητα, την υγρασία και την θερμοκρασία των χώρων του σχολείου μας με τη χρήση ειδικών οργάνων.

We are students from the 3^rd Junior High School in Heraklion, Crete. Our school is participating in the European program for saving energy “Euronet 50-50”. Our school has been talking part in this program since 2009 and we will continue until 2012. Our aim is to communicate with other people in order to expand ideas as to how to we can save energy at home as well at as school. Although, through this program we are also seeking to maintain a balance for the planet, as a whole.

In order to improve awareness of the aims of this program, we informed all of our classmates and teachers about the purpose of our participation. Since then, we have created teams, which under the guidance of our teachers are responsible for checking the air quality, moisture and temperature in the various areas of our school. This is done with the use of special instruments.
